Terms of Service

Last updated: September 12, 2026

What this is

Feedparse is a feed diagnostic tool that accepts a feed URL, fetches the feed, analyzes it for defects, and returns a report. It is provided as a free service without any warranty or guarantee of availability.

Acceptance

By using Feedparse, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the tool.

Use of the service

You may use Feedparse to analyze any RSS or Atom feed URL for the purpose of diagnosing feed defects. You agree not to:

- Use the tool for any illegal or harmful purpose.
- Submit URLs that contain malware, phishing content, or other malicious payloads.
- Attempt to probe, scan, or test the infrastructure for vulnerabilities.
- Use the tool in a way that exceeds reasonable request volumes (the service is rate-limited by the underlying platform).

No data storage

Feedparse does not store, log, or retain any submitted URLs, feed content, or analysis results. Everything is processed in memory and discarded after the response is sent. There are no user accounts, no session persistence, and no stored history.

Billing and payments

Feedparse is free to use for all features — no payment is required and no billing information is collected. No paid tier is currently offered. The product has no accounts, no server-side storage, and no email sender; a paid subscription or pay-per-report feature would require adding those capabilities to the architecture. You will be notified before any charges are introduced.

No warranty

This tool is provided “as is” without any warranty, express or implied. The analysis is based on parsing the feed XML and identifying structural defects. It may not detect all issues that cause a specific reader or directory to reject a feed. The operator makes no guarantee that fixing the reported defects will result in feed acceptance.

Limitation of liability

The operator shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use this tool, including but not limited to incorrect analysis, service unavailability, or actions taken based on the analysis.

Service availability

Feedparse is hosted on a free-tier Cloudflare Worker and may be subject to platform-imposed rate limits and availability constraints. The service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.

Changes to these terms

The operator may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

No governing law or jurisdiction has been chosen because no legal entity exists yet. These terms will be updated when the operator registers a legal entity and designates applicable law.
